Well that's interesting!
A member of Parliament for British Columbia for nearly four years and an MLA for nearly five years, McInnes had entered the University of Toronto at the age of 14 and graduated in 1889, the youngest graduate to that date. He was appointed to the office of Commissioner in the Yukon Territory on May 27, 1905, and was said to be one of the most popular politicians in the Yukon in the early 1900s.
