Well that's interesting!
In 1938, Leduc refused to resign as minister, at the request of Maurice Duplessis. As Quebec's constitution included no mechanism to force Leduc, Duplessis tendered the resignation of his entire government to the lieutenant governor on July 7, 1938, allowing him to reappoint and re-swear all ministers, except Leduc.
