Well that's interesting!
Blake, a Unionist Conservative from Manitoba, is said to have "vociferously" opposed the Winnipeg General Strike in the House of Commons. Two years later, he was defeated in the 1921 general election, and failed twice (in 1925 and 1930) to regain his seat in the Commons.
