Well that's interesting!
Expelled from the Commons for corruption on 29 September 1891, McGreevy, a Conservative, managed to return for about a year upon the death of his replacement, John Hearn, also a Conservative. However, he was beaten in 1896 for his first and only time, as he died about six months later at age 71.
