Well that's interesting!
We sometimes hear the expression, "He was a man of his time." Well, McKenzie, a Manitoba Progressive Conservative MP from 1972 to 1988, was not. Following a 1982 trip to South Africa, he endorsed apartheid, arguing that South African Blacks were intellectually inferior to Whites.
