Well that's interesting!
Scowen was the Liberal MNA for Notre-Dame-de-Grâce from 1978 to 1987. Although considered a federalist, in 2007 he published Time to Say Goodbye: Building a Better Canada Without Quebec, a work in which he presents the argument that the as­pi­ra­tions of English Canada will only be achieved when Quebec can cease to be a province.
