Well that's interesting!
Zambito has only been elected as a municipal councillor (for the city of Saint-Leonard from 1986 to 2001, before its amalgamation with Montreal, and for the city of Montréal from 2001 to 2013). However, he ran without success not only for the Québec National Assembly in 1985, but also for the Italian Senate in 2006 and the Italian Chamber of Deputies in 2013.
