Well that's interesting!
After eight failed attempts at both the federal and provincial levels, British Columbia leftist LeFeaux finally won one of the two Vancouver Centre seats in the legislative assembly for the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) in the 1941 general election, only to lose it in 1945. He also failed to get it back in 1949, and thus fits PoliCan's definition of one-hit wonder.
