Well that's interesting!
Marcil was Québec Liberal MNA from 1985 to 1994 and a Liberal MP from 2000 to 2004. Afterwards, he worked for a Montreal engineering firm and arrived in Haiti on a business trip on January 12, 2010, when a massive earthquake struck. His body was found several days later in the rubble of the Hôtel Montana.
