Well that's interesting!
Some people have couth; others, don't. Tremblay didn't. From calling Hull (across the river from Ottawa) ugly, to pointing out that then-premier Jean Charest's first name was really "John" to discredit him as a representative of the "true Quebec," and from attacking journalist Joyce Napier (then at Radio-Canada) for not having a fran­co­phone name, to suggesting that Céline Dion had turned her back on her Québec roots in her pursuit of pop stardom, the Bloc Québécois MP excelled at the kind of petty comments that did nothing to elevate her party's reputation.
