Well that's interesting!
MLA for Îles-de-la-Madeleine for one year (1904–1905), the Nova Scotia native died in office in the shipwreck of the SS Lunenburg. His body was found 20 days later — on Christmas Day. He was buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Halifax.
