Looking at their influence as a whole, some political families today may seem like they are destined to govern or to be in opposition. However, this search engine allows you to select a date range, which may lead you to finding that the influence of those same families was quite different in other periods. Note that the political families are referred to as they are known today or when they disappeared.
Note: Generally, the first seven historically most influential families are classified as “Primary” and the next seven as “Secondary.” However, for the federal Parliament, “Primary” groups the contemporary major parties. All parties in the Yukon could be entered as “Primary.”
